Canvass reaction super positive says Breathnach

Fianna Fáil election candidate Declan Breathnach had a “great night canvassing” with FF top dog Michael Martin and Farming Lord Seamus Kirk there this day last week.

A great reception was had at every house with both people and, according to Breathnach, dogs, all eager to talk about the upcoming campaign.

Paddy Power have Breathnach neck and neck with #TeamFitzer for the fifth seat at odds of 1/2.

School Principal Breathnach is confident of taking the seat being vacated by farming doyen Seamus Kirk.

“As an educator I know for a fact that we don’t teach logic in schools so I’m confident we’ll get returned to continue doing great work for Dundalk.”

“Seamus done great things for Dundalk over the years. Him and Dermot Ahern are great examples of the inherent goodness of Fianna Fáil and Dundalk. The people have been very supportive. Sure Dundalk people are great anyway. They don’t need me to tell them that sure!”

Breathnach is following the tried and tested election path of right Messrs. Kirk and Ahern in promising to maintain the magic road at Jenkinstown, keep leprechaun subsidies ticking over for Cooley and not clamping down on fuel smuggling along the border – a vital cog in the Dundalk economy.

“Decent people will always vote Fianna Fáil around here. I’m just looking forward to meeting more people on the canvas. It’s been great.”
